Co-PRESIDENT
Selamat Datang ! My name is Nazira, a Second Year Law student from St Mary's College! I would like to officially welcome you to the DUMAS group! I’m this year’s Co-President in charge of Finance! DUMAS strives to bring to you a home-away-from-home experience for Malaysians at Durham and we also wish to provide a taste of Malaysia for the non-Malaysians. As they say it on the Malaysia Airlines announcements, "To visitors, we welcome you to beautiful Malaysia, and to all Malaysians, welcome home!" We strive to give you a taste of the Malaysian culture through some hallmark events that we organise which include the 'Welcome Party', the Deepavali as well as the Chinese New Year celebrations. In addition, we also plan to organise smaller lepak sessions throughout the year amongst DUMAS members! The fun, friendly and hard working Executive Committee strives to make DUMAS events accessible and affordable for everyone in the community. By contributing a small membership fee of £15, you will be feted to much fun, exciting networking and delicious Malaysian cuisines that will hush your blues away! Feel free to say Hello to any one of us as you walk around Durham! We will be happy to show you the nooks & corners of the amazing campus! I hope you would favourably consider joining our Award Winning Society as we are excited to welcome you in person to the fold of DUMAS!

I’m Roshanth, Co-President of DUMAS 2019/2020 in charge of Admin. You can often find me either at the Billy B trying to catch up on my Law degree or at Chad’s trying to cope with the stress of the degree. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and making Durham a better home away from home for your year to come.

Hey everyone! I'm Kenneth and I'm in charge of the marketing activities for this society. Being from the best college in Durham (big up Mildert!), you can catch me on a cheeky Lloyds Wednesday social, on the Hill for one of our formals, or in one of our acclaimed college theatrical productions. You can also catch me taking pictures at every DUMAS event. If you ever bump into me around town, feel free to come up and chat about anything from college sport to the best bubble tea shops in Durham!
